I have a sweet friend, that I like to call my "rag doll friend." The reason I call her that is she is the kind of friend that you want to tuck under your arm and drag around with you, with one thumb in your mouth, and the other hand doing what needs to be done. Her name is Diana. She has such a sweet disposition and the most trusting faith in the LORD that I have always been drawn to her. She makes me joyful when I am with her. She is the epitomy of coming to the LORD like a little child.
Last night my sweet friend, her husband and their family received word their 26 year old son Kevin who has been battling cancer since June will not survive this battle. The doctors have said they have done all they can do, but the cancer has surrounded his lungs and they cannot save him. Praise God anyway! Kevin accept Christ at the tender age of 7 and will soon meet him in Glory! My rag doll friend believes this too and so though there is grief there is confidence in Christ. I ask for your prayers as this family seeks God's guidance as to what additional medical care, if any, there should be. I love my friend and I weep with her and her family, but I rejoice that our hope is in our heavenly precious God and Savior and we who believe know where Kevin will be going. Praise HIS HOLY NAME!

I will pray. We lost my sister in law at 24 to cancer.
She will need you like you have needed her.
